"Sales Consultant in St. Paul, MN Sales Consultant Are you passionate about selling? Wage Scale: (Leveraged Compensation Plan) This is a base, plus sales commission job, requiring 10 weeks of mandatory PAID training (100% attendance required) and it is Pass/Fail. Training: Pay for weeks 1-8 is based on $25,100 annually. Week’s 9-completion is based on $30,200 annually.  Entry Level (based on $30,200 annually plus 3,256 TSI annually until requirements are met to become Fully Competent).   Post training/Fully Competent: Sales Consultants who meet 100% of objectives can expect to earn over $47,725 annually after approximately 6-8 months (Leveraged Compensation Plan).   Location: 70 W. 4th Street, St. Paul, MN, 55102 Anticipated Class Start Date:  March 25, 2013 Typical Work Hours: Assigned varying shifts (may include overtime) based on the needs of the business. Monday-Friday 7:55 a.m.-7:00 p.m. (8 hour tours scheduled within those times depending on seniority and business needs). You must be able to work any shift during that timeframe. Shift hours may change on a daily basis. Job Responsibilities: The Sales Consultant will handle everything from taking the original order request from the customer, entering it into the appropriate order entry system and following the order through to completion and billing. Basic working knowledge of and ability to negotiate and sell all of Centurylink Business Products, i.e. Basic POTS Services, Centrex and the following Hi-Cap Designed Services, PRI, DS1, DSS, UAS basic working knowledge of Centurylink Data CPE Products. Promote and sell Centurylink products and services by consulting, gathering information, and evaluating customers' needs. Respond to customers’ inquiries, requests and disputes over the phone. Use judgment to make adjustments to customers’ accounts, and notify customers of dispute or inquiry resolution. Retain customers through proactive follow-up of orders and billing questions. End to end order management and status on all requests. Explain and/or demonstrate all services, products, features, and costs. Probe and problem solve with customers to offer the right product solutions based on their needs. Negotiate customers’ requests for installation, removal/changes of service, and billing arrangements; and coordinate installation with all other departments. Use various computer systems (20 or more) screens simultaneously to process service orders. Ensure customer satisfaction and win our customers’ continued business and loyalty.
