Post Resume -Get Paid by Employers at Resumark .com Subject: IP Engineering Manager - Fixed Term Contract Danny Nicholson posted a job: IP Engineering Manager - Fixed Term Contract "IP Networking Manager Fixed Term Contract: 12 Months+ Security Clearance: SC Level (Must be eligible for clearance) Location: Bracknell, Maidenhead, Reading, Slough, Home Counties, Berkshire, Middlesex, South East England Fixed Term Contract opportunity with an ASAP start for an experienced IP and Data Networking Team Leader / Manager to join an international telecommunications carrier to take ownership for the operational success, client relationship and team management of circa 40 CCNA & CCNP Cisco Implementation Provisioning Engineers for a large scale customer migration project. It is essential for candidates to currently hold OR be eligible to pass BPSS and SC level security clearance checks. The IP Network TL / Supervisor is responsible for the leadership, performance management and motivation of a team of engineers who carry out the Implementation / Deployment / Provisioning / Migration and remote configuration of customer circuits over the network infrastructure including the ATM, Ethernet, IP-VPN & MPLS Wide Area Network encompassing a broad range of product & services for Data, Video & Connectivity solutions. You will take ownership of presenting performance reports and improvement initiatives, identifying, mitigating and managing risks as they occur. You will interact and fulfil support required by different functions in the customer's organisation, lead and supervise implementation of policies and guidelines as necessary. From a functional performance and improvement perspective you will own the process delivery as set out in KPIs, being responsible for the performance management of engineers through goal setting, evaluation and improvements, also responsible for the capacity, capability and throughput of the team. You will be point of contact for escalations, scheduling "out-of-hours" work and you will provide a team training matrix, identify and arrange trainings as per requirement. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable people management / team leadership experience of technical IP / Data engineering, support, implementation or installation teams working for a telecoms carrier, service provider, ISP, telco operator, system integrator or similar organisation. Candidates will have some knowledge and previous hands-on experience of IP / MPLS technologies with at least a CCNA certification. It is essential for candidates to currently hold OR be eligible to pass BPSS and SC level security clearance checks.
