"SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions (MBS) is seeking a Director of Information Security in Grand Rapids, MI, for a global client. The Director of Information Security will oversee and coordinate security efforts, in addition to identifying security initiatives and standards. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage and execute a formal information management program, to include analyzing findings and making recommendations on the most beneficial and cost-effective approaches to address identified threats Execute and maintain business continuity and contingency plans Assist in the investigation of security breaches, as well as disciplinary and/or legal matters associates with such breaches as necessary Monitor security and privacy requirements within global industry regulations, ensuring the existence of necessary controls Manage annual certification and regulatory audits Responsible for asset protection, video surveillance, access control systems, etc. Maintain relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies and other related government agencies Chair the corporate information security and privacy steering committee Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field 5+ years of experience in information security management Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment Experience setting strategy and implementing policies for physical and logical security Experience in the financial industry preferred Experience with business continuity planning and/or disaster recovery preferred MANAGEMENT BUSINESS SOLUTIONS IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER"
