Job Opportunity: You'll be in charge of designing and implementing the analytics dashboard using an authoring tool such as Pentaho BI, Jaspersoft or BIRT. You will work with personnel, both within the company and with customers, to understand requirements, figure out what can be done given the available tools, propose possible designs, achieve consensus, and then implement. Requirements: - Experience as the primary designer/implementer of a dashboard using available authoring tools - Understanding of web analytics metrics - Good grounding in web technologies, including HTML, CSS, Javascript - Experience with web APIs - At least 3 years of experience in software development - BS/BA in Computer Science or related field is a must - Truly excellent communication skills, both written and oral - Must know how to reach consensus when dealing with multiple parties with potentially conflicting requirements - Must be able to function well in an early stage startup environment - Must be able to multi-task Desired: - Understanding of statistical models and distributions. - Graphic arts/web design experience. - Experience with advanced visualization techniques.
