Assures the constant supply of raw materials required to support production by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Plans and orders certain critical raw materials such as ticking labels using a customized MRP system in accordance with supplier selections and instructions from Corporate National Purchasing Oversee CONBON raw material replenishment system that is administered on the production floor. Responsible for the initial set up, daily usage estimates, number of cards needed, trigger points, and reorder quantities Analyze figures from records such as sales forecasts, orders, and production records to obtain accurate inventory Manage the receiving department and the storage of raw materials throughout the plant Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies Works with suppliers and production employees to eliminate waste and damage to raw materials Plans for elimination of obsolete inventory items Other duties may be assigned.
