Responsible for making sure the employees perform their job assignments according to companies Policy, ISO 9002 Work Instruction Book and OSHA requirements. Major Responsibilities/Activities (List in order of importance the essential functions of the job): • Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product. • Formulates and maintains quality control objectives and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs. • Directs workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products. • Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to product quality and reliability. • Investigates and adjusts customer complaints regarding quality per Quintus. • Maintains ISO requirements by monitoring the Quality System. • Reviews all prints and specifications for incoming jobs. • Must maintain a positive work relationship by acting and communicating in a manner that exemplifies Corporation's guiding principles so that an atmosphere of professionalism with fellow employees, management, customers and vendors is constantly present. • Manages one subordinate supervisor who supervises a total of four employees in the Quality Department. • Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of this unit. • Directly supervises Quality Inspectors (non-supervisory) employees. • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable law. • Other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications (Include education, experience, special skills and licenses or certifications required): • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
