"Region’s leading manufacturer and supplier of wide range of high quality polyethylene/flexible packaging products used in Construction, Agriculture, Dairy, Food, Pharmaceutical Industries & various other Industries. Job Summary: Direct and control production functions and to ensure that all production targets are achieved within the time frame, specified quality standards and budget. Job Details: Manage the production planning and scheduling and to ensure that deliveries are made to the customers as per the agreed schedule. Develop and implement process improvement projects to enhance productivity, energy efficiency, product quality and environmental performance. Monitor and control budget, profitability and cost efficiency. Initiate proactive measures to reduce cost and to avoid wastage of resources. Submit authentic and timely information to management for performance review, and to initiate precautionary and corrective actions. Effectively coordinate with sales department for customer orders, specifications and timely delivery of orders. Closely work with sales, marketing and quality assurance departments for new product development and production ideas. Coordinate with quality assurance team to ensure conformance with quality specifications and continuous quality improvements. Monitor and control the quality of products at each stage of production. Ensure optimum level of stocks and maximum utilization of resources (men, machines and materials). Ensure that all production related documents are maintained meticulously. Analyse and resolve production and machine related issues to ensure production continuity and to meet production targets. Monitor and control safety systems, and ensure safe working at all times. Competencies required – Technical & Behavioural Sound knowledge of flexible packaging manufacturing process (Blow film extrusion, flexo printing, lamination and bag making.) Sound technical knowledge and ability to resolve production related issues. Sound knowledge of quality standards Strong business acumen Strong decision making and problem solving skills. Must have proven oral and written fluency in English language. Sound knowledge of MS Office Key Skills: Product and process knowledge (polymer).
