"Send resumes to:bciociola@covexllc.com Permanent posiiton Overview: Following GAMP system development life cycle (SDLC) process, the Automation Engineer will develop and maintain integrated and standalone automated systems and equipment for manufacturing and packaging areas, while maintaining compliance with all GMP/GXP and data integrity requirements. The Automation Engineer is responsible for: setup, program, modification, and maintenance of Programmable Logic Controllers and Human Machine Interfaces. Create, organize, and maintain documentation related to aforementioned items. Implement projects and modifications electrical/ electronic/programming in nature. Responsibilities: ● Designs, documents, and validates equipment control systems, process control systems, system integration and automation following a system development life cycle approach. ● Maintains equipment control systems, process control systems, system integration and automation in a validated state. ● Reviews and assesses the current state of legacy systems and addresses any identified gaps through a meas. ● Follow projects using GAMP from requirement phase through the process validation phase including generation of documentation. Improve site performance through development, implementation and execution of system improvement projects (i.e. electronic batch records, etc). ● Provide support to Operations and Maintenance areas through execution of new or continuous improvement projects ● Follows Company Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures. Qualifications: ● Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering. ● Individuals with equivalent combination of education, training and related experience will be considered. ● Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an FDA regulated environment and education or training within ISPE and cGMP. ● Direct experience with manufacturing and/or packaging systems/applications, including design, development, and qualification/validation of automated systems. ● Relevant experience with the following applications/ systems is preferred: Allen Bradley PLC/equipment"
