"Berean Group is Seeking Senior Software Engineer (Mobile Applications) Location: Los Angeles, CA Duration: Permanent Citizenship / Work Authorization: Must be US Citizen or Perm Resident Only This is NOT a telecommuting position. REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE • Must be champion in Android, Apple, and Blackberry application development and have previous experience with developing applications that are in the market • Must be a tech savvy person who pushes the limits of the Android, Apple, and Blackberry platform and is eager to experiment and leverage the latest and greatest of new releases • 6+ years of software development for Mobile devices • Solid C/C++ and Java programming skills. Thorough understanding of JNI and Java C/C++ interfacing • Good understanding of configuration aspects of devices running Android, Blackberry, and Apple is very important • Deep understanding and experience in developing multi-threaded applications • Experience with TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, WAP and SMS • Experience with XML, WBXML, and HTTP protocols • Excellent architecture and design skills, including use of design patterns and UML • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of writing appropriate documentation, mentoring both senior and junior team members and proactively identifying code and design flaws and suggesting improvements. DESIRED • Experience with iPhone, Windows Mobile, RIM, or Symbian • Experience in developing device management and data synchronization software • Has presented papers in conferences • Has Android apps in Android, Blackberry, and Apple market REQUIREMENTS • Master's in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Engineering is preferred • Three or more years experience or strong project portfolio in application development is required • Able to communicate well with all levels of people.
