"Job Description: The network consists of Cisco based routers and switches, as well as various other devices in limited numbers such as Juniper Routers and Switches. In addition, there are multiple WAN circuit configurations including point to point T1s, DS3, OC3, fiber and LAN based cabling systems. The candidate will be required to be able to produce network designs, network diagrams and documentation and cost estimates or both equipment and labor. The candidate must be able to perform minimal project management for small projects coordinating not only the data network elements, but also interfacing with the other service towers such as server support, mainframe, circuit vendors, desktop and firewall support. The candidate will develop LAN cabling requirements, designs, product selection and cost estimating for Cat 5, Cat 6 and Fiber systems. Skills Needed: Skill Experience Need 1) Cisco router configuration and management 2) Cisco switch configuration and management 3) BGP protocol 4) ATM, MPLS, Voice over IP skills 5) LAN Cable Plant Design 6) Juniper Router/Switch Design 7) Data Center/MDF/IDF Design"
