"pproach People is currently recruiting for one of his clients, major company of the pharmaceutical industry based in Switzerland, a MARKETING REPRESENTATIVE POSITION PURPOSE Manage the daily business activities within assigned Business Area with a high level of decisions to be taken at own discretion. Support of Sales Managers in strategic approach. Actively take the lead role as an interface between highly complex and heterogeneous markets, local sales teams and headquarter functions (Sales Management, Product Management etc.) VALUE ADDED/POSITION PURPOSE  Support and drive the implementation of Marketing/Customer strategies in cooperation with Sales Managers and Global/Regional Key Account Managers; provide information on customers for the creation of strategies; analyze customer portfolio  Collect and analyze market information on customers, competition, market prices, industry sectors  Pricing: submit price offers at own discretion within authorized range directly to customers or via country organizations; check and approve customer pricing, discounts, quantity contracts, validity and payment conditions; ensure accuracy of pro-forma invoices; create and handle credit/debit notes; establish and monitor accruals in coordination with Sales Management and Finance department  Business control : follow-up on outstanding payments in close contact with internal and external sales organizations, Sales Manager and Finance; collect, report and follow up on projects together with Sales Manager; approve and follow-up on sample orders and color requests; allocate material to customers within Business Segments and allocated region; analyze customer credit limits  Manage interface function between local country organizations, Marketing, Supply Chain Center, Finance and Legal departments to achieve optimal customer service level; take lead position in operative trouble shooting  Monitor monthly consignment stock consumption in the relevant business area; assist Sales Management in strategic steering of Consignment Stocks  Handle customer complaints in the complaint management system; commercial regulation and return of goods SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS • Swiss nationality or valid work permit • Previous experience in a similar position required • Communication skills: excellent knowledge of English and German (written and spoken), French being an asset • General IT knowledge: Experience in using MS Office, SAP R\3 • Commercial education • General understanding of global trade processes • Planning and organizational skills • Ability to work in a cross-cultural team • Analytical abilities, initiative, ability to react quickly and take sound decisions, flexibility, resourcefulness as well as the capability to work accurately while under tight deadlines • Personal reliability and integrity, discretion, a sense of judgment and diplomacy Permanent contrat Position based in Switzerland Please send your CV in English (Word) at david@approachpeople.com"
