"PURPOSE AND SCOPE: The position of Regional Sales Manager is to provide tactical and operational leadership and support to the sales functions of this organisation. Reporting to the General Sales Manager this position is to facilitate the development of the Regional sales team as well provide support and direction. OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Ensure implementation of the channel picture of success by channel type; • Ensure the customer service policy is rigidly implemented and maintained; • Accurate volume forecasting by region; • Replenishment of stock to meet sales forecast ; • Horizontal and vertical growth opportunities and continuously investigated; • Cost control of the area sales departments operational cost; • Leadership, provide sales staff with tactical and operational support; • Performance appraisals identifying capability and training development needs; • Team motivation; • Retention and replenishment plans for staff turnover; • Manage account receivables; KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS • Net profit managed by region; • Volume and value growth (channel picture of success); • Cost management; • New business development (horizontal and vertical growth); • Administration (Cost control, HR, Treasury, Stock, Assets); • Receivables within agreed terms; • Customer satisfaction ratings; REQUIREMENTS • Tertiary University degree from a recognized institution is non-negotiable; • At least 5 years solid experience in the FMCG Food industry; • Have experience working within West African countries; • Be fluent in English; • Have a strong commercial aptitude; • Be willing and able to live and work in Ghana If you meet the above requirements and have extensive experience working within the African expat market then please contact send an updated CV to Monalisa@ndb-executivesearch.co.za or contact Gigi Russo at 021 466 8905 and we will be in contact with you soonest.
