This workstream will manage the decommissioning of multiple legacy systems following a major brokerage conversion. Contract goes through 2/2/2013. Local candidates preferred. Single point of contact for PMO Directors, Technology Leaders, Project Owners. Create and track program level timeline and define critical path for all Business and Technology Deliverables Provide inputs/direction to the Technology Delivery Managers as and when required Project escalation point for Tech Delivery Managers Responsible for core project management activities – Risk Management, Issue Management, Escalation Management, Communication Management Work with PMO leadership to ensure adequate and appropriate staffing for the proejct team Responsible for Financial planning and Tracking Manage program interdependencies to ensure delivery of Projects Develop work estimate, financial budgets and timeline for sub-workstreams Facilitate Status Reporting, Issue and Risk Escalations Facilitate in all major status meetings, owners meetings Ensures that company methodology process is followed at all life cycle stages of the project/programed approvals Ensures ORR reviews are completed Interface with all Business stakeholders to ensure project impacts are analyzed and communicated Required/Highly Desired Skills:- Brokerage Domain experience is a must Experience with Quality Center, Quality Processes, & other project management tools nice to have Leadership qualities to drive project towards its objective must have Must demonstrate high level skills & acumen in the following areas: Documenting:Compile & develop documentation for each Phase (using internal methodology) Estimating:Estimate needed resources, milestones and budget. Application of metrics from other projects. Planning:Pre-planning, CBAs, analysis, & project work plan. Apply lessons from other projects. Provides strategic thought leadership. Tracking & Monitoring:Monitor resources, schedule, costs, and activities, linkages, issues, risks and project metrics Communication/Status Reporting: Develops project Communication Plan. Reports to stakeholders on project resources, schedule, costs, activities, linkages, issues, risks and program metrics. Effectively communicates to cross-commits and business partners, Engagement leaders and vendor partners. Risk & Issue Management: Develops a Risk management Plan, including identification, assessment and contingency management, and quantitative analysis to determine probability. Change Control:Impact assessment, recommendation, & alignment to project plan, review of project risk profile for approved changes. Standards & Techniques:Good working knowledge of company methodology standards & deliverables based on project path. Compiles and publishes methodology deliverables. Knowledge of IT standards and strategy. Knowledge of Six Sigma methods and tools. Participation in methodology reviewer pool for QA. Understands & supports the IT strategy & standards. Applies industry –standard knowledge. Team Leadership:Provides task management, team motivation across project team & up through owner organization. Provides alignment with business project team & cross-commits.
