These responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Assisting in the review of new client requests, as appropriate, to ensure that customers are properly risk-ranked and that all customer identification (CIP) and KYC obligations are satisfied. * Providing advice and guidance to GBMA On-boarding Operations team with regard to CIP and KYC on-boarding requirements. * Reviewing and approve high risk customer accounts, including PEPs, as appropriate and liaise with the business as needed. * Conducting Enhanced Due Diligence on customers, where appropriate. * Reviewing and approving high risk periodic reviews and other periodic reviews, as appropriate. * Initiating Event Driven Reviews, as appropriate. * Serving as the liaison between AML Compliance, the business, the Facilitation team and AML Operations. * Proactively identifying and mitigating potential issues in on-boarding, KYC and due diligence processes. * Assisting with the requirement of receiving all business signoffs before conducting business with a customer, particularly with regard to PEPs and other High Risk customers. * Maintaining and improving the process of identifying and reporting potential PEP’s and liaising with the business. * Maintain a log of USA PATRIOT Act Foreign Bank Certifications. * Maintaining log of Politically Exposed Persons. * Providing advice and guidance to the business on AMLC and KYC related issues.
