This position is a critical role in a new division, effectively a proof-of-concept. We are working directly with the SVP/CIO responsible for this position. ROLE eBUSINESS / eCOMMERCE SOLUTIONS ANALYST Interface directly with the financial company’s clients to communicate, advise, consult, and sell tailored solutions. Work on analytics, best practices, user experiences, etc. Serve as the liaison between the development team and clients. Build, demonstrate, and maintain a detailed knowledge of current business functions, processes and controls. Maintain familiarity with current business issues, objectives, and strategies and recognize issues and opportunities to apply technology to enhance existing or build new business capabilities. Work closely with clients and development team to complete eCommerce projects. Identify opportunities for tailoring the process to the specific project needs and obtain appropriate approval. Communicate effectively with business stakeholders using business terminology, but also possess a strong technical background. Coordinating and facilitating requirements gathering sessions, developing appropriate requirements and functional design documentation, use cases and also assisting in the testing of the functionality of newly developed eCommerce applications. Tact, diplomacy, strong written and verbal communication skills, and critical analytical skills and sound judgment are essential. 25% travel within the US (Short trips to assess needs with clients/users). REQUIRED -- 5-7 years experience with systems development methodologies, definition and systems design. -- eCommerce project experience and knowledge as a Business Analyst or related role. -- Transaction processing knowledge. -- Exceptional verbal, written and communication skills. -- Strong presentation skills. -- Ability to quickly understand the scope of the project and identify key success and risk factors. -- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively. -- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Visio, and PowerPoint) and system documentation tools experience. -- Enthusiastic team-player and a self-starter.
