Post Resume -Get Paid by Employers at Resumark .com Subject: Anti-Money Laundering Quality Assurance Compliance Officer Connecticut Gerald Elliott posted a job: Anti-Money Laundering Quality Assurance Compliance Officer Connecticut "Our client is a top financial services firm and they are seeking an AML QA Compliance Officer who would be responsible for assisting the AML QA Head Compliance Officer in the planning, executing, evaluating and advancing of periodic quality assurance reviews of key compliance controls and processes. The QA Compliance Officer also maintains on-going working relationship with the reviewed businesses and units and assists the management in improvement and maintenance of robust compliance controls and processes. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Assisting in the development of QA Program documentation. * Planning and independently conduct QA reviews covering the following key areas; program governance, risk assessment, Know Your Customer, OFAC/sanctions, transaction monitoring, suspicious activity reporting, information sharing, ad hoc reviews, etc. * Recording results of the QA reviews and maintain adequate records as required; ensure timely completion. * Preparing QA planning, fieldwork, and reporting documentation in accordance with QA standards. * Monitoring implementation of any corrective actions and engage with the management, acting as a consultative resource. Escalate any issues to the Director of the Quality Assurance team and compliance heads as appropriate. * Effectively communicating QA findings to clients. * Assisting in the maintenance of regulatory issues database to help ensure that all issues identified are tracked, validated for proper closure and reported. * Assisting in the development of QA reporting, metrics, and trending. * Building relationships with key stakeholders. * Ensuring “quality” as a critical attribute of QA supporting documentation and management supervision. * Proactively identifying emerging and potential risks and conduct ad-hoc reviews, tests and interviews and make recommendations as needed to assist AML and business management in monitoring and maintaining strong risk environment.
