"Our client, a top-tier financial services firm seeks a KYC Officer for their Surveillance department. The candidate must be a dynamic individual who is a self-starter and possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills. Five years of AML / Compliance / KYC experience is required. The ideal candidate will have a series 7, 63 and 24 FINRA registration and an ACAM certification. A KYC Officer is responsible for conducting due diligence on existing and possibly prospective customers dependant on the specific role. The KYC Officer will speak with the firm’s customers and Relationship Managers and will be responsible for adhering to the firm’s AML and KYC policies and procedures. This position provides an excellent opportunity to play an integral role in facilitating compliance with KYC regulations. The ideal candidate has worked with AML / KYC tools such as: Choicepoint, WorldCheck, CDC, Lexis Nexis, Bankers Almanac, Negative News Searches, Hoovers, Pacer, FINRA, SEC, Secretary of State Websites, CFTC and other like sites and services. The individual should have good computer skills and will use MS Office and Lotus Notes. There are a number of internal and proprietary systems that the KYC Officer will be trained to use.
