Desired Skills & Experience • BS or MS in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with management, development staff, and customers. • 5+ years of software development experience with minimum of 3 years in Java. • 2+ years of enterprise application development using J2EE stack, Portal technologies. • An understanding of J2EE design patterns and best practices (Session Facade, DAO, Business Delegate, etc..). • 3+ years experience with MVC based frameworks, preferred Spring. • 2+ years of experience with persistence models like DAO or Hibernate • Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database technology - the ability to write and understand complex queries • 1+ years experience with Web Services and understanding of SOAP, REST. • 1+ years experience with Spring • 1+ years experience with RIA frameworks based on AJAX • Ability to manage multiple projects at once, multi-task across projects, and effectively prioritize each • Demonstrated success in participating in software delivery projects through all phases of the product development life cycle • Developed detailed low level technical design specifications • Experience with JavaScript libraries like JQuery and DOJO • Deployment experience to J2EE application servers like Tomcat and Resin • Enterprise development using Eclipse • Worked in a team environment of at least 3 collaborating on source code • Basic understanding of security technologies or packages (Digital Certificates, LDAP, PKI, etc) • Experience with heterogeneous operating system environments such as Solaris, Linux, Windows • Subversion Source Control • Knowledge of Maven and Ant for build environments • Sun Java certification an asset To Apply Directly: https://jobs-compuware.icims.com/jobs/11862/job Our Company: New technologies offer incredible potential: revenue growth, improved customer satisfaction and stronger brand image.
