This person will be part of a 4-man team supporting internet application environments using their broad understanding of enterprise infrastructures and application architectures. You will need to have at least 5 years in Linux Systems Administration, with some experience in a managed service or cloud environment. The position will require some prior exposure to Java technologies such JBoss, Tomcat, Websphere as well as, knowledge of standard internet protocols including: TCP/IP, HTTP, SSH, and LDAP. You will need to be able to manage and respond to a dynamic work flow and respond to high pressure situations. Experience with one or more scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Bash etc and an understanding of a service management framework such as ITIL or similar is also necessary. Participation in an on-call rotation is necessary. This international Digital Media company currently has 2300 plus customers worldwide - many Fortune companies and are expanding their Cloud Video Platform Team.
