"Role: Hiring for Client Executive for Quantitative Research Location : UK. This position requires to work from home and travel for client meetings, as needed. In addition to base salary, you can earn commissions too. Description: Our Client is looking for an energetic client executive to develop its quantitative research business with clients in Europe. Responsibilities: - Identify key decision makers in quantitative research in financial institutions across Europe. - Helping grow Client’s quantitative research business by developing and deepening relationships with these key decision makers, understanding current and prospective clients’ business needs in this area and proposing solutions to those needs. - Liaising with operations people to ensure participation from operations at client meetings or calls, especially as discussions are at an advanced stage. - Liaise with operations to prepare proposals and together with operations present these to the clients - For new projects/engagements get involved in contract negotiations and liaise with legal to ensure timely contract reviews and finalization. - Keeping track of current engagements, arranging regular client governance calls (including operations), liaise with client, operations and legal department at time of contract renewal to ensure streamlined renewal process. - Planning marketing campaigns aimed at promoting Client’s quantitative research practice. - Arrange current and prospective client meetings for senior operations people during their visits to Europe and accompanying them to the meetings. - Developing marketing material aimed at promoting Client’s quantitative research capabilities. - Representing Client in industry conferences and other networking events Education Background and Experience: - MBA degree (in Finance), Master’s degree in Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Engineering or a CFA charterholder - 4-5 years’ experience in Financial Services in the US or Europe. - Good understanding of Capital Markets and structures of Financial Institutions. - Familiarity with basic technical tools used in quantitative research: knowledge o f VBA, Matlab, R and SQL and familiarity with Bloomberg, Reuters, Factset, Capital IQ etc. Regards…!!!
