GENERAL SUMMARY Primary responsibility is to work closely with the Business Unit (BU) head to identify current and future business needs and design HR strategy, plan and intervention to ensure BU is ready to achieve them. Support HR leadership team and provide the interface between HR and the department which in turn results in an effective front line HR delivery to business. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To coach, mentor and feedback to the departmental senior management team and line managers and to improve individual and organizational performance. To manage top industry talent to be able to support BU objectives and overall Organization’s growth. Represents the HR organization as the principal customer contact and often performs project leadership role Responsible for a variety of human resources programs and policies, often encompassing several areas of human resources, including organizational development, operations, recruiting, compensation, benefits, or training. Assignments may include development, implementation, and evaluation of programs or policies, and may focus on service delivery within a segment of the firm, providing advice and recommendations. May provide input to or define short and long-term goals and objectives for human resource service delivery. Erroneous decisions or recommendations would normally result in the inability to reach crucial organizational objectives and may have a prolonged effect, as well as, result in the expenditure of substantial resources.
