"Now Hiring: Sr. Guidewire Systems Analyst - Perm in Scarborough, ON Canada Sr. Guidewire Systems Analyst Job Summary · To perform systems analysis work to implement Guidewire ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter and other systems for Aviva Canada. · To proactively provide technical support to the production runs of Guidewire systems in use at Aviva Canada. · To do system design and analysis work, recommend solutions to technical problems, and to act as a project leader for project development and implementation. · Liaison with user coordinators, line departments, and user groups. Job Responsibilities · Organizes, plans, directs, helps to train, supervises and controls the activities of a team of systems analysts, programmer analysts and business analysts to ensure meeting the project objectives and performing production support tasks on time and within budget. · Conducts feasibility studies, prepares input to project schedule tasks and recommends the most effective solutions to user requests. Studies and analyses requirements for new projects, major system enhancements and production problems. Liaise with various levels of users. · Assist with data management as required · Assist in configuration capability (Screen/UI, application settings or parameters, Business Rules etc.) using Guidewire ClaimCenter or PolicyCenter · Assist developers with development issues related to configuration and integration · Designs complex application systems to meet the business objectives and prepares specifications for the analysts programmers. Acts as system architect during all phases of development. · Performs documentation of work performed, provides estimates and status reports. Reviews work done by project group to ensure user goals are met and standards are adhered to. · Review and recommend software products and procedures. Other duties as assigned. · Provides on call programming support. Qualifications: · Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related discipline OR equivalent combination of education and work experience · Minimum 5-7 years experience in Systems Analysis · Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter or PolicyCenter · Experience with Java and GOSU programming language · Experience with Agile Methodology · Insurance (Property & Casualty) experience Send your cv to konstantina.kyrtsos@modis.com http://bull.hn/l/11C5L/4"
