Position Title : Embedded SW Engineer
Location : Renton, WA
Duration : 6 months +Contract
Position Description:
Our Client in South Seattle is looking for an experienced Embedded Applications Engineer with experience in the wireless communication industry.
Required Qualifications:
Scrum development experience
Perform Software Development as a Scrum Team member.
Ability to develop SW Applications that work with 32bit using C or C++ in an RTOS environment (nucleus+, psos, micro)
Ability to document and articulate design in words
Object oriented design experience
Experience with tcp/ip and snmp
Need to be able to collaborate, negotiate designs and communicate very efficiently
32bit experience required (not low level against the metal, in the application phase of the project)
Required; 4 year degree or higher (MS preferred)
5-8 years of overall experience
Engineers are expected to be well rounded and have knowledge of test equipment such as scopes and ampmeters as well as be familiar with Hardware (education or work).
Software engineers will preferably have developed Protocol stacks, but must have experience using them as an engineer in the work place.
