View company name and apply directly at: http://bit.ly/qmhnc7 Job Description: Responsibilities: Individuals in the Inside Sales Representative position are responsible for, but not limited to, the following tasks: •Identifying sales opportunities: Work with assigned sales executives to understand their sales territories and targeted accounts. Leverage research tools, cold calling and contacts provided by new marketing activities. Introduce assigned sales executives to sales opportunity contacts. •Supporting sales opportunities: Support specific sales opportunities by qualifying opportunities and navigating different business organizations and relationships within accounts. Host initial conference calls and online meetings, and present to prospective customers if/when needed. Nurture and cultivate leads to the point of creating qualified opportunities. •Support marketing campaigns: Provide input to Marketing peers regarding outbound campaigns that will help identify sales opportunities in a territory. Responsibilities will include providing of contact details that are validated and qualified, helping to create appropriate follow-up communications, such as making follow-up calls, sending follow-up emails and setting appointments. •Reporting / Operations: Manage lead tracking, reporting and analysis efforts for the assigned sales team(s). Track and report on progress of marketing campaigns, and provide recommendations to improve performance. Utilize salesforce.com to manage contact data, enter new sales opportunities, and update existing opportunities. Provide reports on weekly, monthly, and quarterly progress to track progress towards agreed upon business goals and objectives. Qualifications: All Inside Sales Representatives receive training, followed by ongoing support and mentorship by their assigned Employee Manager and their assigned team of sales executives. Mattersight is looking for highly qualified candidates with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of work experience in the Inside Sales and/or Marketing function in either the technology, consulting or services industries. Prior experience with Sales and/or pre-Sales solutions engineers selling to Director-level, VP-level, and C-level executives across business and operations teams in large enterprise organizations is a must. Additionally, experience with salesforce.com is a major plus."
