View company name and apply directly at: http://bit.ly/qPva1s Job Description: The Director of Content Marketing will create, produce and manage a broad set of content that includes: whitepapers, sales collateral, website content, videos, presentations, webinars, etc. (S)he will interface with the entire company to source and generate content ideas and collaborate closely with the marketing and sales team to measure and ensure that content meets specific sales and marketing objectives. To be successful, candidates need to understand business nuances in our sales and marketing space and write/edit with a compelling and engaging style. Desired Skills & Experience: * At least five years experience in business writing, editing or journalism roles. Examples could include reporter or editing roles at leading business and academic magazines and publications (e.g., Harvard Business Review, McKinsey Quarterly), a previous corporate content marketing position, or similar content experience at an advertising/PR agency * Strong organizational skills to manage, curate and update content assets * A passion for finding and telling a story, with specific examples of representative content (authored or edited) that reflects a sophisticated, nuanced and engaging style * Ability to structure content outlines prior to content creation, combining creativity in telling the story with practicality in generating output on schedule * An openness and willingness to roll-up the sleeves and create content across a range of topics and formats, from thought-leadership pieces to sales collateral * Extroverted, engaging personality who enjoys collaboration with a broader team * Proactiveness to ‘own’ the content generation process, prioritize content production and syndicate content publishing calendar to key internal constituencies * Content creation/production experience with old and new media formats, especially video * Domain expertise in any of the following areas is a plus: B2B sales and marketing, data management and analytics techniques, high-tech and financial services sectors"
