View company name and apply directly at: http://bit.ly/q2dRIq Job Description: Description: The Private Equity and Strategy Contract Consultant position offers an exciting opportunity to perform challenging work and learn about the private equity, retail and consumer products industries from experienced professionals, while allowing contractors to retain flexibility to pursue other interests. Historically, Contract Consultants have worked on varying levels of consistency over time, based on personal preference and project availability. In certain instances, the contractor role can eventually lead to full-time employment. Qualifications: While the exact role will vary project to project, Contract Consultants are generally called upon to complete complex quantitative and financial analysis, perform primary and secondary research, synthesize research and analysis, and create presentation materials. In addition to these broad consulting skills, the Private Equity and Strategy Team requires deep quantitative and analytical skills and the ability to work with little supervision. Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate the following: - Ability to work with large data sets and build complex financial models in Excel - Experience performing research to develop market and competitive assessments - Experience writing consumer surveys and analyzing responses - Ability to translate analysis and findings into client ready PowerPoint presentations - Deep knowledge of the retail and/or consumer products industries We are looking for candidates that have graduated from top-tier undergraduate and MBA programs and have a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience in investment banking, strategy consulting, or private equity. Candidates should live in the Bay Area and must have the ability to work in the United States without any legal work restrictions. Preference will be given to candidates who are available to work full-time."
