View company name and apply directly at: http://bit.ly/p4ARtW Job Description: My client is looking for an Analyst to be among the first within a newly developed Marketing department, assuming a key role on the team. This person will be responsible for measuring and optimizing online customer acquisition tactics and marketing programs and providing recommendations to the executive team. This individual should be an experienced analyst with a background in an internet or e-commerce related industry, Daily Deals category experience a plus. Candidates with advanced degrees in Mathematics and Statistics but without the minimum two years work experience WILL be considered. My client does not sponsor foreign citizens. Duties: • Analyze data and make recommendations to continuously improve the performance of all marketing communication methods including daily deal e-mails and online customer acquisition programs. • Closely monitor website performance, traffic patterns and user trends and provide optimization recommendations. • Help establish business value of online marketing methods and customer acquisition programs within existing and new territories. • Assist with development and management of SEM and SEO related initiatives. • Develop behaviorally based targeting profiles and assist in selecting customized content for these profiles (with support from IT team). Qualifications: • Analytical experience within B2C e-commerce business (online lead generation experience a plus) • Must be a self starter and solution seeker comfortable working in an unstructured environment that thrives off of collaborative thinking and break through approaches • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment • Comfortable using analytical tracking programs (such as Google Analytics), interpreting data, developing reports, and presenting insights/recommendations to executive team • Varsity level Excel knowledge • Familiarity with statistical and data mining software a plus (e.g. SAS, SPSS, Rapid Miner) • Knowledge of basic SQL a plus • Background or experience in applied math or statistical analysis a plus • 4 year degree in Mathematics or Statistics (advanced degrees preferred) • 2+ years related professional experience"
