"Healthcare Staffing Resource is currently looking for an EPIC Resolute Professional Billing builder for a client in Newton, Massachusetts. The EPIC application builder possesses high degree of knowledge (functional and technical) in Practice Management Systems, Revenue Cycle, and Software Development Life Cycle methodologies. Responsible for the selection or development, implementation, testing, documentation, maintenance and utilization of application software that support the revenue cycle. Serves as liaison between IT, business analysts (if applicable), and the user community. Provides high level technical support and leadership for the maintenance, development and customization of the system(s). Serves as project leader for small to mid-size system upgrades and enhancements. Key player in the design and architecture of technical specifications needed to affect system installations, modifications, and on-going enhancements to system operations. Works at a high technical level in most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. May direct the work of lower level analysts. Typically reports to Manager or Director. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related discipline or equivalent education, training and experience. Experience: Skills and experience typically acquired through at least five years progressively more responsible experience in complex system analysis and design. Expertise in system configuration, upgrades, designing business processes and testing methodologies. Knowledge and understanding of complex systems operations, information flows, and sound practices to ensure credibility of the system. Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all levels of personnel in discussions and explanations of complex systems. Strong communications skills, including effective oral presentation skills and excellent writing skills. Demonstrated ability to manage projects pertaining to the information system. General knowledge of Medical Billing back office functions and systems to support Medical Billing are essential. Specific knowledge of the Epic's suite of products (EpicCare, Resolute, Prelude) but will consider extensive experience in other practice management systems such as GE/IDX, Meditech, GE/Centricity and Mckesson. Experience in billing and accounts receivable, scheduling and registration, electronic claims, electronic remits, systems configuration and electronic claim scrubbers are highly desired. Proficiency with other business related software applications (i.e., MS Word, Access, Excel, etc.) We offer a $2000 referral fee for any leads that will help us fill this opening.
