Title: Project Manager Location: Albany, NY Type: Contract Rate: DOE Duration: 18 months Job ID: 1907E-003PM JOB DESCRIPTION The candidate will manage and oversee the development of a database, a process to support entry of medical certification information into the database (possible web interface), a process to store, receive and retrieve the medical certificate document by possibly using an imaging system and upload capabilities, changes to existing driver license issuance programs & processes, an electronic messaging of medical certification information to other states, and modifications to other existing programs that will need to capture or record medical certification information. Overseeing and assisting in testing, both QA and UAT, will also be included. Mandatory requirements: - A minimum of 6 years experience in project management - A minimum of 6 years experience developing requirements and/or business rules. - A minimum of 6 years experience in creating and/or maintaining project documentation - A minimum of 6 years experience risk, defect, and issues management - A minimum of 4 years experience in facilitation and meeting management skills - A minimum of 4 years experience in MS Office Use (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, Visio) - A minimum of 2 years experience in coordinating the development of procedures, user manuals, and training - A minimum of 2 years as a certified PMP Desirable Experience: - 4 or more years experience in managing Project Plans and Project schedules that lasted duration of 1 year or more - 4 or more years experience managing projects that involve cross-functional areas - 4 or more years experience with verifying expectations and requirements with project sponsor and key stakeholders - 4 or more years experience managing projects that involved blended teams of consultants & government agency IT staff - A minimum of 4 project management engagements where such engagements lasted duration of 1 year or more and were classified as full life cycle engagements - 2 or more years System Data Analysis & Design experience.
