You are an exceptional individual with a proven track record ready to take responsibility for the company’s technology roadmap, design and development of next generation security, service management and consumer solutions for television network operators. As part of the management team you will be responsible for the following: * Providing technical leadership, ownership and driving the company’s technical strategy. * Liaising closely with the market facing teams, to understand the technology requirements of the market and manage the translation process into technical designs. * Identifying, tracking and internally articulating technology trends and innovations that could be applied to the company’s future solutions. * Providing innovation and creative input to the company’s design processes , to ensure they deliver “best in class” solutions to the market. * Managing and motivating the product design and development teams to build products and solutions, delivering on the technical strategy. * Managing the full product development lifecycle from design through to product completion and post deployment product enhancement. * Defining and implementing product development and integration strategies and processes to deliver on quality, time and cost objectives as agreed with the management team. * Coordinating key technology partnerships to ensure the company can deliver comprehensive solutions to the market. Your Profile... * 5 years experience in management positions. * Extensive background in development of software products/solutions in the television or other media technology-related industries. * Extensive end-to-end knowledge of digital television systems in satellite, cable, digital terrestrial and IP networks within the European market. * Detailed design experience in the television supplier business with proven deployed solutions attributable to you design and management capability. * Experience of integrating and deploying complex video and data solution into end consumer devices. * Good understanding of cryptographic techniques, security application designs and processes. * Passion for technology design and innovation in the television or other media technology industry. * Well-rounded individual with a broad range of experiences and achievements in senior technical posts with a good understanding of the complete business environment. * Highly motivated individual who is able to lead, organize and motivate technical managers, design and product development teams. * Excellent communicator able to address public seminars, industry forums and senior technical and non technical executives, articulating at the correct level in every circumstance. * Analytical nature to delve into complex technical/commercial problems and identify solutions. * Excellent English (verbal and written) communication skills are required.
