"Berean Group is Seeking Client Server Consult Engineer SMS Location: Harrisburg, PA. Duration: 11 months. Job Type: Contract. Citizenship / Work Authorization: Must be US Citizen or Perm Resident Only Job Description: Short Description • Under limited supervision is responsible for development, enhancement, and implementation, of security systems. Complete Description • The person in this position performs highly advanced technical support for the department's information security program • Under the direction of the Chief Information Security Office this position will assist with the planning, designing, implementation and maintenance of security systems. • This person will be responsible for the day to day support and upkeep of the department’s security applications on an as needed basis. • The individual will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of these systems is maintained. • The person in this position will assist with the design and maintenance of the -department's firewalls. • This person will also consult with development teams and provide recommendations to maintain a secure computing environment to the CISO. • This position will work with the CISO on disaster recovery initiatives ensuring the security and integrity of data, data systems, and data networks across the entire department is maintained. • This includes designing and implementing disaster recovery processes and business continuity procedures for re-establishing servers, databases, and operating systems in the event of a disruption, both minor and catastrophic • This person will also perform and analyze disaster simulations for the prompt restoration of services, and conduct security audits where required. Required/Desired Skills • Previous experience in a consulting or lead role required. • Hands-on experience with Checkpoint firewalls required. • In-depth knowledge of PC operations, and PC encryption. • Hands-on experience in developing DR plans. • McAfee EPO. • eEye Retina Scanner • Network security. • Strong knowledge PC connectivity products and PC hardware connectivity. • Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
