The Healthcare Team is looking for a strong Research Associate in Life Sciences and Diagnostics in the New York office. The role involves building and maintaining models, as well as writing research notes and industry pieces. The team is looking for top-notch analytical candidates with a passion for Equity Research, who possesses a strong work ethic, interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Specific Responsibilities: • Creation and maintenance of earnings, valuation and industry models leveraging skills in accounting and finance • Research and write reports with a company or sector specific focus • Respond to requests for data, information and calls from internal and external clients • Develop and maintain relationships with management of companies under coverage as well as industry participants Skills Required: • Equity Research, Investment Banking or other related experience preferred, experience in or related to the Life Science Tools sector a plus • An exemplary academic record, with a Science degree favorably considered • Excellent skills in financial modeling and analysis, accounting, writing and communication • Candidate must possess exceptional quantitative abilities • Ability to meet time sensitive deadlines, perform well under pressure, work independently and as part of a team, and a willingness to work long hours"
