View company name and apply directly at: http://bit.ly/nO7EqS Job Description: •Execution of monthly reporting, quarterly forecast and annual planning processes ensuring due dates are achieved and key deliverables are submitted. •Provide functional and technical application support for FP&A and Accounting activities across Guggenheim. •Support and maintenance of Hyperion HFM and Essbase platforms including ensuring appropriate controls and change management procedures. •Perform Hyperion HFM and Essbase technical administration functions including adding accounts and attributes, security configuration, trouble shooting and development of reports. •Consolidate forecasts and annual plans and provide analysis for the Executive Committee, Board Members, Executive Management and Finance department. •Work with Finance team to design and develop financial models including standardized and ad-hoc reporting in support of Business Unit specific business analysis. •Deliver improvements and change initiatives within and across business units by performing analysis, design and implementation activities. •Develop and implement policies and procedures for Hyperion maintenance and standardized reporting processes. •Identify and assist in the development and implementation of best practices for financial services. Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. (CPA or MBA is a plus.) •Approximately 5 years in a blended IT and Accounting/Finance role. Financial services experience is preferred including experience in an integrated forecasting environment is desired. •Proficient in Hyperion HFM and/or Essbase with hands on experience and proven success in configuration, issue resolution and delivering complex financial results. •Strong problem solving skills with attention to detail and quality. •Demonstrated ability to work hands-on in a collaborative environment. •Strong problem solving skills including demonstrated ability to analyze issues and develop, implement and document processes that improve the accuracy and timing of work products and business activities. •Proficient in core Microsoft Windows application software including Excel, PowerPoint and Word. •Self-starter with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with strong organization, time management, and oral/written communication skills. •Must successfully pass a background and credit check. •Located in Chicago office."
