RESPONSIBILITIES • Implement requirements using industry best practices and techniques. • Implement reports off high data volumes using a design to ensure optimal performance. • Ensure consistency in data cleansing, data integrity, and data quality across all integrations with SAS data warehouse • Work with various business units to understand and translate business use cases and/or requirements into data models, analytics, reports and scenario models • Responsible for constructing data transformation processes to create reporting data marts. • Provide leadership, guidance and mentoring on SAS Enterprise BI Server issues and technologies • Conduct demonstrations/present group recommendations to business & systems management • Maintain awareness of technological advancements/make recommendations where appropriate • Perform programming tasks as necessary BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: • 2+ years experience with SAS BI report development and dashboard creation using SAS Enterprise BI Server. • 2+ years experience with SAS Stored Process Development, SAS Information Map Studio, and SAS Web Report Studio. • 2+ years experience with SAS Management Console and SAS Enterprise Guide. • 2+ years experience with Base SAS Programming. • Strong data modeling/SQL Query skills leaning towards the physical data modeling practice • Experience with normalized and dimensional data modeling techniques as well as experience implementing OLAP concepts and data structures(e.g. SAS OLAP Cube Studio/Proc OLAP/MDX) • Hands-on technical experience using data warehouse, business intelligence and analytics products (e.g., SAS) • Experience with data analysis and mapping • Expertise in the creation and usage of metadata • Team oriented with excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Experience working in a matrixed organization. • Ability to develop and maintain partnerships across the organization, and be able to influence senior management, peers and staff.
