This position will report daily to the Finance Manager. Your key directive will be to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability and other financial activities within the organization. Daily you will prepare, examine and analyze accounting records, financial statements and other financial reports; compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns; maintain knowledge of tax code changes; confer with management to discuss issues, laws and regulations involving returns; perform general accounting functions and support month end, year end and budget activities. This is a full time opening on days. Qualified candidates should be good at gathering information, improving accounting processes and analyzing numbers and financial reports. This position requires individuals to maintain time lines and work independently to complete tasks. Candidates should show confidence, good communication skills, be reliable, team oriented and exhibit good work history. A Bachelor’s degree in accounting required 2. A minimum of 5 years in a similar role 3. Tax accounting experience 4. General accounting background (including reconciliation, general ledger, budgets and month end and year end closing) 5. Experience working in ERP or MRP environments 6. 10-15% travel; including international travel 7. Microsoft Office including Word and Outlook and an expert level in Microsoft Excel Skills preferred but NOT required: 1. Vantage software 2. Complex manufacturing background 3. CPA 4.
