Responsibilities Include: * Monitor and summarize applicable regulatory developments * Provide guidance and oversight for compliance filings * Respond to inquiries from trading personnel re material non-public information * Conduct periodic compliance training for new and current employees * Prepare agenda and minutes for internal compliance committee meetings * Lead review, negotiation and management of prime brokerage, ISDA, futures, repurchase, and other trading agreements * Update compliance manual, employee handbook and related procedures * Experience with the Investment Advisers Act preferred but not required * Experience with one or more of the following a plus: - Form ADV - Forms 13H, PF, SLT, SHC - NFA forms and questionnaires - Exchange Act filings - AML compliance - Pay-to-play laws Qualifications/Experience: The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of compliance rules and requirements relating to an Investment Advisers Act registered hedge / private equity Fund manager. Candidate must possess strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the maturity and confidence to work independently, manage shifting priorities and pitch in on any urgent matters that may arise.
