With over 40 partner companies and more than 5,000 employees worldwide The Broadcast Media Supervisor participates in the preparation and the ongoing process of developing broadcast schedules, setting up station/cable network budgets and analysis of the campaign to accomplish client objectives and strategies. The Broadcast Media Supervisor will have responsibility for a specific market or cable network list and they will handle the negotiation of buys on behalf of all clients active on these stations/networks. The Broadcast Media Supervisor should possess an in-depth knowledge of the historical performance, as well as the prevailing and anticipated buying environment for all markets/networks on their buying list. The Broadcast Media Supervisor will supervise buying accounts and will handle the reporting and day to day management of said accounts. They will have significant interaction internally with the Account Services, Research and Analytics and Accounting groups, and externally with various media representatives and clients/sister agencies. Responsibilities: Preparing media buys in accordance with campaign buying specifications Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with sales representatives in order to facilitate the development of media buying strategies that will improve cost efficiencies, clearances and results Interacting with sales representatives to gather key planning information such as prevailing media rates, available inventory, and anticipated clearance levels Negotiating with stations on client’s behalf to secure optimal schedule for campaign Drawing results conclusions and put daily interpretation of results into buy management actions Ensuring execution of buy management schedule revisions Monitoring the buy on an ongoing basis throughout the campaign to assure that the client’s budgets and campaign goals/performance metrics are being met Overseeing buying accounts Establishing and maintaining excellent relations with planning partners and clients in order to exceed client expectations in the delivery of services Maintaining the day-to-day maintenance and communications with planning partners and clients Delivering timely reports based on analysis of weekly and sometimes daily schedules Putting together buying plans based on account parameters Providing POV’s on new opportunities as they present themselves Providing marketplace condition reports Remaining up-to-date on industry news and trends and assessing the potential impact on the broadcast buying environment Utilizing Datatech and other resources to compile account-specific/historical reports Training and supervising Assistant Media Buyer Interacting on a regular basis with Account Services and encouraging a team-oriented approach to providing the client with superior ... http://bull.hn/l/G825/5"
