"Now Hiring: Chief Medical Officer in Austin, TX Our client is a rapidly growing medical provider in Austin TX.   POSITION: CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER The CMO is responsible for overall clinical leadership and building relationships with the provider staff to further the clinical goals and strategic objectives of the organization. As a member of the executive team, the CMO provides a physician perspective at the executive management level and provides the necessary clinical leadership to carry out Client’s mission. The CMO is responsible for creating a patient centered practice of care, through collaboration with patients, families (as defined by the patient) and staff across all disciplines and departments.   PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES Implement the strategic direction of the organization related to medical and health service programs. Lead the organization’s multi-specialty provider/mid-level provider team and pharmacy team. Lead and direct the development and implementation of high quality patient care services, programs and initiatives across a broad primary care continuum. Monitor and evaluate all programs and/or services to ensure achievement of system-wide, uniform standards of medical clinical practice, medical quality assurance programs, practice guidelines and protocols, and interdisciplinary collaboration, such as standing delegation orders for nurses or nurse practitioners and policies and procedures related to patient care. Lead the provider recruitment effort to ensure clinics are properly staffed with qualified providers and mid-levels providers.  Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of all treatment and prevention services and public health medical programs in accordance with federal, state, and local community health regulations and standards. Partner with community leaders in regards to population health management and implement programs into practice. Provide direct care services in the clinics. Perform other duties as assigned.      ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/KEY COMPETENCIES ·        Ability to provide leadership in the establishment and implementation of health care delivery mechanisms, strategies, tactics, standards and goals.  ·        High level of skill at building business relationships and strategic partnerships.  ·        Strong business acumen as well as substantial knowledge and expertise in the health sciences. ·        Ability to analyze, synthesize and communicate complex data, clinical information, business needs and related issues in an accurate, objective and straightforward manner. ·        High degree of knowledge and competency in the practice of medicine and ability to perform medical tasks. ·        Strong attention to detail and accuracy. ·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ·        Experience/knowledge of Joint Commission accreditation process and requirements, as well as all federal, state and local regulations and standards associated with the delivery of care in a Federally Qualified Health Center. ... http://bull.hn/l/14BHG/4"
