Title: Senior Project Manager Location: New York, NY Type: CONTRACT Rate: $70-95 per hour Duration: Long Term Job ID: 0709-001PM JOB DESCRIPTION This position is required to manage the analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of medium to very complex web services components using Java/J2EE technologies. Skills requirements: - Responsible for the overall Project Management of system design and architecture for assigned projects as well as any of its associated application reference architectures - Knowledge of J2EE and Web services development technologies - Defines, communicates and enforces Project Management standards - Suggests alternative technical solutions to meet client requirements more efficiently, and/or with greater reusability, and / or longer life - Knowledge of OO concepts, internet based architectures, client server architectures; Service Oriented Architecture based component development - Knowledge of Web Service security using industry recommended best practices - Knowledge of SQL, API development in distributed data environments - Good communication skills – both oral and written, capable to present status to management Education: - BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent; advance degree and PMP Certification is desirable Experience: - Project Management experience of more than 10 years and as Project Manger for web services 3-4 years with Java, J2EE About MicroAgility: (An Award Winning Business and Technology Consultancy) MicroAgility is a business and technology consulting company.
