Position  : BI/Data Warehousing Developer
Duration : 3-6 + months Contract
Location  : Santa Monica, CA
Rate : $45/hr on C2C all inc Max


Job Description:
We're looking for someone who wants the challenge of working on developing actionable and highly effective analytics solution to solve real business problems. 
Play key role in design, development and deployment of Analytical Applications in a hosted environment.
Experience customer requirements first hand and design solutions which go beyond traditional BI solutions.
Identify opportunities for process optimization, process redesign, or development of new Analytics.
Exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Work closely with product managers, engineering teams, quality assurance, and other teams to deliver the Analytic product.
Work in a high paced and rewarding environment with bleeding edge technologies and innovative concepts

Required Skills / Experience:
Bachelors Degree, with 7+ years related information systems experience and 5+ years in  Data warehousing/ Business Intelligence
Expertise with data warehousing concepts, terminology, and architecture.
Experience with various business intelligence technologies (applications, databases, ETL, reporting, etc.).
Experience with OLAP
Experience in designing DB Schema and performance tuning of ETL / DB etc.
Expert understanding of data analysis, data modeling, and ETL tools. Detailed knowledge of capabilities of multiple reporting tools (e.g. COGNOS, Business Objects, etc.).
Proficiency in physical/logical database design, performance tuning and monitoring.
Excellent SQL skills and in-depth understanding of database technologies.
Should be able to translate user requirements into functional or product requirements and be able to document those.
Training is critical part of Implementation process; candidate should have had experience preparing training material as well as delivering effective training to the end users.
Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks. 
Excellent team player, able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams.
