As a key team member, this position will interact with all levels of management and effectively monitor the day-to-day accounting operations. The Accounting Manager will need highly effective supervisory skills and be responsible for supervising, mentoring and motivating the accounting team, including accounts receivable and accounts payable staff. Responsibilities: The Accounting Manager is responsible for and will oversee all accounting functions including, but not limited to, billing, electronic billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, monthly variance analysis for all departments, annual budgeting process, escrow and trust accounting. Responsibilities also include work in progress and accounts receivable reports as well as the ability to provide assistance when needed on entry of cash whether by wire, check or through our scanner program. Qualifications: - Qualified candidates must possess extensive knowledge of accounting principles, collections processes and financial analysis. - Requires a minimum of 5 years of accounting and supervisory experience. - Must have excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong customer service, analytical, project management and organizational skills. - Requires a high level of proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of CMS and NECHO (expense reimbursement) is a plus. - Candidate should be flexible, customer service oriented, professional and able to meet tight schedules and maintain effective relationships across all levels of the organization. - This position could expand in the future, requiring regular overnight travel to other office locations.
