View company name and apply directly at: http://bit.ly/pEDQKK Job Description: Description: The Enterprise Planning Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring coherence throughout our strategic planning process. The ultimate goal of this planning platform is to extend our firm's position as the leading direct bank in the US and maximize the long-term creation of economic value across all business activities. Enterprise Planning is responsible for the creation of the bank's commercial road map. It is the process of leveraging external as well as organic intelligence to decide on and prioritize the programs the organization will undertake to effectively implement its strategy. Emphasis will be given to defining the amount of resources that should be allocated to each program. Programs, in this case, are the principal business initiatives the bank has decided to undertake. As market conditions change and new threats and opportunities present themselves, our strategies and internal capabilities must be re-aligned. It is the Planning Analyst's responsibility to capture these shifts and respond by conducting impact-assessments and issuing recommendations. - Provide Strategic leadership and guidance to the firm, including but not limited to, the Medium Term Plan Process and the strategic obligation given to the Group - Liaise with line and staff departments to establish permanent working relationships and facilitate the seamless implementation of an integrated strategic planning platform - Interface with the CEO and other Senior Leaders to ensure consistency between Corporate Planning and Strategic Planning - Communication planning results to Senior Leaders, the Board of Director's and ING Group - Translate Strategic Plans into activity-based Business Plans for downstream functional areas and perform feasibility studies - Analyse competitive dynamics and trends in current and potential-entry markets for the bank - Perform economic impact analysis, such as valuations based on cash flows, multiples and risk-based capital requirements - Monitor organizational performance against an integrated system of benchmarks - Optimize current analytical approaches (conceptually and technologically) reflecting decision-making requirements and changes in the external environment - Track results of undertaken initiatives and pro-actively re-calibrate current practices - Utilize the customer and product profitability views to provide insights into growth opportunities - Assist the CEO and other members of the Executive Committee in communication with both internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications: •Experience in Financial Services or Equity Research Analyst •Business Consulting Experience •Strong, Executive level communication skills (Memos and PowerPoint) •Analytical Aptitude (Valuations, RAROC, Profitability Modeling, etc.) •Steep career trajectory •5+ years relevant work experience in financial analysis or business/ product development role •Degree or post-secondary degree in Accounting/Finance •CPA or CFA designation desirable Send your resume with Enterprise Planning Analyst in the subject line.
