View company name and apply directly at: http://bit.ly/pQyMw3 Job Description: • Evaluate expansion opportunities at the corporate level and develop business cases for opportunity areas, specifically in Claims Technology • Identify new revenue streams among and potentially within business units • Lead the development and implementation of a corporate strategic planning process • Work closely with leadership of different divisions on business case development for new business opportunities •Work closely with Corporate Services on Merger & Acquisition related activities • Proactively identify, develop and support initiatives that advance enterprise strategic objectives to enhance the customer experience, achieve process improvements, enter new markets, and grow the business • Refine, lead and manage a high quality strategic planning process (including Board of Directors presentations) that produces a clear, comprehensive, financially integrated and forward looking strategy for the company and its businesses • Identify key trends and emerging changes in the industry and communicate implications and options to executive leaders. Develop, challenge and frequently re-visit strategic assumptions about customers, competitors and the environment to gain and sustain competitive advantage QUALIFICATIONS: • MBA degree from a top Business school required • 5 + years consulting experience at a leading strategy consulting firm such McKinsey, BCG or Bain • Domain knowledge of strategic planning, competitive analysis and business development • Demonstrated ability to provide thoughtful, fact-based, effective counsel on business issues to a global management team • Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to attract, build, mentor and direct a high-performing team • Record of success and an ability to gain support and commitment from peers • Influence skills - drives agreement and action through intellect, communications skills and consensus building ability. Creates buy-in at differing levels of the organization • Open minded, flexible, values input of others • Critical thinker • Can clearly and succinctly communicate the operational and strategic results and goals of the company • Executive credibility; sought out as an opinion leader • Pragmatic • Keeps commitments; high professional integrity; strong sense of accountability • Optimistic and energetic; a self-starter able to set clear priorities and roll-up his/her sleeves to get the job done"
