We’re looking for bright, motivated and quantitative individuals who want to grow with a fast growing internet company. We’ve built up a fun and hardworking team in San Francisco and are looking to add more like-minded individuals as we continue to expand. In this role you'll answer crucial questions to help the business grow using your rare combination of analytical prowess and business acumen. Specifically, the Business Analyst will: • Analyze external and internal data to determine industry and competitive positioning • Determine and track key product metrics as the company continues to grow • Identify and convert insights into overall product trends and results • Assess project and/or business needs and produce supporting data and reports • Develop and outline strategic action items based on data analyses • Manage listings and sales of ticket inventory, meeting or exceeding sales and service goals o Deliver detailed reports on sales efforts, for both internal use and for delivery to partners o Use data analytics to improve and refine your work daily Skills and Attributes: • Organized and reliable with attention to detail – can handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills – can provide clear, fact-based direction for a range of business issues touching a variety of functional areas • A foundation in working with databases and data retrieval using SQL is a plus • Excellent Excel skills to extract meaningful insights from datasets • A high degree of creativity, curiosity, and optimism, with an eye for possibilities that will drive the business forward • Willingness to contribute to our collaborative team environment by providing constructive feedback to your manager and peers regarding successes and best practices • A sense of humor and positive, “make-it-work” attitude, especially as you zip through our foosball tournament brackets Experience: • 0-2 years of related analytics experience • Degree from a four year accredited college o A degree in a quantitative field such as computer science, statistics, physics, mathematics, etc. is a plus To Apply: • Please include a cover letter, resume, and salary history.
