"Description: Digital Curriculum for schools: offering a range of online learning approaches to differentiate instruction to overcome or accelerate traditional classroom learning. The company’s solutions are “need to have” purchases funded for by education budgets, most notably because they contribute to helping customers lower dropout rates by providing students with alternative options and increasing graduation rates through the ability to recover credits to graduate. Responsibilities: As a Regional Account Executive, this individual will be responsible for new business acquisition within a given territory that includes state departments of education, education service centers and public education institutions. Overall responsibilities include meeting quota and revenue targets, prospecting and developing relationships with senior administrators in those accounts. This individual will manage the sales cycle of assigned accounts to obtain sales of our products and solutions by selling custom solutions aligned to today’s educational needs. Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge on our products. They will complete and submit on a timely basis all required reports such as forecasts, activity, and expense reports. They should be able to manage data efficiently and accurately into the implemented sales management program, Salesforce.com. This position will require working directly in the field and requires extensive travel. The position reports to the Regional Director of Sales. Qualifications: • Track record of successful acquisition of new business clients in a software as a service (SaaS) business model. • Makes compelling presentations and adeptly explains features, benefits, and technical aspects of the full product line to a variety of audiences. • Closes the sale by addressing customer concerns, demonstrating empathy, and consistently moving the customer towards commitment. • Inspires others with drive and motivation to sell aggressively by exhibiting enthusiasm, strong will, passion and a positive proactive outlook. • Focuses the sales effort around identifying and fulfilling customers' current and future needs. • Excellent ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including non-technical. • Writes powerfully and persuasively using various styles and effectively addresses different needs and audiences. • Prioritizes and performs a variety of concurrent tasks with minimal direction. • Self-motivated, thrives on doing a job well, has the independence, initiative, organization and desire to achieve.
