Candidate must have strong working knowledge of Graphical User Interface design, and the ability to implement screens that maximize ease of use and optimize user workflow. Knowledge of Element and Network Level Management Systems applications including WDM networks is a plus. Candidate must possess strong communication and problem solving skills, with the ability to create designs and screen layouts based on requirements. The ability to implement and test features and deliver commitments on time under very aggressive schedules is mandatory. Candidate must also possess the ability to work across multiple functional teams in different locations, including working with teams in different time zones.Desirable: Knowledge of Eclipse development environment, Shell, Unix. 2) 10434 - MIS Software Application Functional Developer Must have a broad range of architecture, design and programming skills. Specifically, the ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of programming experience in object oriented design and development using JAVA, XML, ORACLE SQL, HTML, & CORBA. Candidate must have strong working knowledge of client/server architecture/design and the ability to apply this knowledge to the development of JAVA component applications in a multi-threaded environment. Candidate must also have strong knowledge of Element and Network Level Management Systems applications, especially on WDM network elements providing photonic services and optical switching applications. Any knowledge on Alcatel-Lucent WDM network elements and G.709 OTH standards are definitely a plus. Candidate must possess strong communication and problem solving skills with the ability to create designs from scratch based on requirements, implement and test features and deliver commitments on time under very aggressive schedules. Candidate must also possess the ability to work across multiple functional teams in different locations, including working with teams in different time zones.Desirable: Knowledge of Sablime, Nmake, Perl, & Ksh. 3) 10435 - MIS Software Application Tester Validate/Verification Tester of network management software for optical networksKey Job Responsibilities: - review product requirements and create test plans. Create system tickets to track software problems found. Follow up with development team and systems & architecture team for resolution. Conduct feature demonstrations. Verify end-user documentation for accuracy. Skills and Experience: Essential: Experience in optical networks, UNIX, Web GUI interfaces. Good interpersonal communication.
