The emphasis is on building simple products that delight consumers, are secure, stable, high performing, and meet regulatory requirements. Each product will have mobile and tablet versions. Job Opportunity: We are recruiting for an experienced senior systems administrator to join the core engineering team. The role will require design initiative, group collaboration, enthusiasm, and solid linux systems administration experience. The company handles financial information and we're looking for someone to build and maintain environments that are secure, redundant, high performing, standards compliant, and stable. Responsibilities: - Deploy and maintain Company’s Stock Ownership Plan software - Architect, design, install and configure computers systems and networks - Performance tune high-volume production systems - Manage operational processes and procedures for regulatory and compliance requirements - Perform regular security checks and implement new security measures - Provide on-call support for production Qualifications: - 7+ years of system administration with at least 4+ years of RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu or Debian Linux experience - Broad experience in areas including networking, security, DBA, HA, and cloud systems - Experience working on critical, highly available production systems - Experience with mass systems deployments using puppet or other automated tools - A strong belief in developing scripting and automation - Take pleasure in solving complex technical problems, and learning new technologies - Have experience working with cross-functional teams to develop enterprise solutions - Approach problem solving with the goal of finding the root cause and documenting the solution - Meticulous attention to detail and strong organization skills Bonus Qualifications: - Experience working in SAS-70 and PCI environments - Experience with managing disaster recovery sites - Experience working with Cisco firewalls, BGP, load balancers, and switches - Experience with storage arrays - AWS, Nginx, Ruby on Rails, Jetty, Scala, Reddis, Memcached, MySQL, and MongoDB experience - Kickstart, Puppet, Splunk, Syslog-NG, Zabbix, LDAP, Mail/Postfix, DNS, DHCP, KVM/Xen/VMWare, OpenVPN, Asterisk, Snort, OSSEC experience Contact: Rob Reeves / Redfish Technology President, CEO O: 208.788.8260 E: rob[at]redfishtech[dot]com L: www.linkedin.com/in/robreevesredfish F: www.facebook.com/RedfishTech T: twitter.com/RedfishTech N: tinyurl.com/ylmtqqc/ W: www.redfishtech.com Leading Recruiters in IT and Clean Tech"
