"Are you a good fit for this job? Sharepoint Developer in Bedminster, NJ 2/20/2012 - 5/13/2013 Nice long W2 Contract in Bedminister NJ. Job Description: This position requires expert knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and the contractor must have the ability and skills needed to transform layouts/templates to well structured, semantic and valid (X)HTML and CSS with minimal direction/assistance. Additional responsibilities will include documenting web best practices - including implementation of usability best practices, analyzing web transactions, managing information architecture, updating content, and providing advice on how to best optimize content for online deployment. Primary responsibilities include support and development of key SharePoint learning environments for both our internal resources, and those end-users throughout the company who benefit from our sites. Most of the development work for this position will be done using SharePoint Designer (required) however other methods will also be employed. The candidate will need to understand how to use SharePoint to create/update/customize MasterPages, Workflow, Lists, Libraries, Groups and more. This person will possess the ability to move quickly on multiple tasks at once, while providing top-tier finished products for our clients. Solid project management skills, high organizational skills, and computer competency required. This individual should be able to think conceptually and creatively, and communicate well with others The ideal candidate will be capable of handling large-scale web site projects, as well as working with teams, peer groups or autonomously to consistently bring value-add products. The position requires technical acumen, along with working knowledge of software architecture and the enterprise managed services landscape. Must be a quick learner and possess a motivated, pro-active work style.
