We seek dedicated and motivated people to join our team of securities lending professionals as our business continue to expand. Responsibilities include: * Develop, test, and deliver reports using Cognos BI tools to meet business requirements * Coordinate working sessions to gather and analyze business reporting requirements * Work with DBA to enhance and extend data model specifically to meet the needs of report consumers * Assist in identification and resolution of data issues in Operations, Finance, Compliance, and Client Relations departments Qualifications: The ideal candidate is a self start with 2+ years working experience with Cognos, preferably with formal training, and proficiency in SQL based reporting tools, and ideally within the financial industry. Candidates should possess: * BA/BS in Computer Science or a degree in echnology or quantitative field * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Hands on experience using Cognos 8 / 10 or comparable BI tool * Proven ability to read and write SQL queries * Understanding of relational database concepts and design * Ability to think outside of the box when faced with complex, technical, and business challenges. * Knowledge of securities data is a plus"
