View company name and apply directly at: http://bit.ly/mRaI0x Job Description: As Director of our Qualitative Consulting practice, you will have the unique opportunity to help our clients identify and evaluate product and market opportunities, and work closely to shape overall product, brand, and business strategy. As an Engagement Manager your day-to-day responsibilities will include: - Being the primary client interface and owning overall project execution - Owning the timeline and managing your projects against key milestones - Leading research teams and coordinating field, recruiting, reporting & transcription, including helping guide and develop the work and skills of junior team members - Being a lead moderator for major qualitative projects - Exploring the business implications of the results - Leveraging the expertise of our principals and other research leaders - Building the final report in PowerPoint - Presenting final results to clients - Supporting, and where appropriate leading, new business development efforts associated with the projects for which you have been responsible and the clients with whom you have been working - Helping to scope and define appropriate methodologies for potential new projects As an Engagement Manager, you will be a vital part of growing the business and building a world-class boutique market research firm. You will help us build momentum by: - Providing insight and analysis throughout the project that goes well beyond the clients' expectations for a typical qualitative research experience - Ensuring every report you deliver builds the customers' conviction in the company's quality and differentiation - Contributing to the thought leadership, vision, and overall quality of everything we do - Helping to identify and address new business opportunities by working and coordinating with other senior team members, both on the qualitative and quantitative sides of the business Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have 6 or more years of experience in one or more of the following disciplines: high-tech marketing with a combination of technical and business experience in program management, product planning or product management, market research, and/or consulting. An MBA is preferred. Candidate should be a self-starter with a track record of exceptional performance, a proven ability to manage multiple complex projects, and the ability to think strategically about business issues, synthesize large amounts of information to develop breakthrough insights, and have a comfort presenting and defending recommendations. This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to use pertinent data to persuade and motivate, as well as excellent leadership and collaboration skills. Strong skills in PowerPoint are essential. Prior experience with focus group moderation or interviewing is valuable but certainly not required."
